Worldbuilding in Virtual Reality

Have you ever dreamed about building an entire world of your own? To create fantastical plants, creatures and infrastructures and ecosystems with your own hands? In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, you will collaborate with others in real-time to bring such a world to life using Virtual Reality (VR). During this workshop you will have a chance to immerse yourself within VR, learn the basics of 3D modelling, and explore how such technology could be used as a tool within your own creative practice.

Bio

Ella (she/her), also known as @elechtcreates, is a Graphic Designer, Creative Technologist and self-taught 3D Artist based in South London. As a neurodivergent, Ella is passionate about hands-on learning and is particularly interested in using VR as a tool within the creative process. Whilst aspiring to become a Games Designer, Ella currently works as a freelance creative and is also developing an art toy brand using VR, Blender and 3D printing.
